Is it normal i cant apply since website wont accept my ssn?

I trying to sign up for a job but the website says my SSN is not accurate. Even though I am literally holding the card in my hand and that's what it says so I dont see how that is true.

    You may be doing it wrong such as using dashes?
    Maybe you should try clearing the cache, history
    that can cause issues to with certain websites too.
