Is it normal i cant find anything on this branch? what is the coast guard?

All of the recruiting stations are right next to each other but not the coast guard. They dont even have a website but I was told to check them out before. What is the coast guard? Even the Marines have a website with full details so how do you find information on this? Is it better then the navy? Do you need asvab to get in?

    The USCG is probably the most unprofessional military force on earth. They only keep 3% of their enlistees, so almost everyone has little to no actual experience. Not a bad choice if you don't mind working for an amateur organization and don't wish to see combat.
