Is it normal i cant run for extended periods of time?
For whatever reason, I can't run easily, yet weight lifting comes easy to me. I have no idea why

They are different exercises. You need cardiovascular fitness for serious running.
You may want to look into that. Our bodies are designed for running, especially endurance running. If you can't jog, ask yourself what is stopping you. Personally, I hate it. Joggers piss me off on the trail. But I like how my body feels when I am doing it well. Sadly my joints ache all the time and it is physically hard.
I hear you. I workout almost everyday. But, when I run it feels like my legs are made of lead. And I used to be a cross country runner! Thankfully, I understand zombies are pretty slow.
I have the same problem. I guess it could be low cardiovascular health as Rose has mentioned or in my case it could be my deep rooted, seething antipathy for leg day. It'll be a cold day in hell before I do leg day!
