Is it normal i'd rather die from the plague than take a cpr test again?

And I mean it. Id rather be homeless and starving or go to prison as well. Just absolutely not doing it. Not that its still a relevant problem because now they switched to allowing home tests instead. But I am absolutely terrified of that test after having done it before, but never completed because I would not handle the pain long enough. Even the quick tests hurt too much (but not quite as bad as the first) with one exception and that is when I got to handle the stick myself, then its actually almost zero pain. I think not enough people talk about how bad that test was

So, just ask to do the swabbing yourself.

Swab inside of your nose. From what I hear they can go quite deep.

It fucking hurts. The quick test is painless though. Instead of fitting your brain with a stick they just play with the entrance. Major difference

When I got mine it was literally just a cotton swab he tickled the side of my nose with. Those old PCR tests arent used as much anymore. Maybe they realised they dont need to scrape brain matter out for the test and can use snot instead.

    • I had some say it was not painful (but still gross/uncomfortable), but that was miles from what I experienced. We can't physically have felt the same thing despite having done the same procedure. Even on the quick test the nurses just push way too hard against the back bone part in your nose (hope I explain it right). They told me last time to relax my face but that was simply completely unrealistic at that point. But when I got the chance to do it myself last time I tried, it was suddenly painless. Its also not cotton from what I saw, but something with lots of tiny spikes on it (that I assume can look like cotton from a distance)

Tthats crazy, they just use a cotton swab now. When they wheeled in their little medical cart they took out the cotton swab from their pack and opened it infront of me. It was simple.
