Is it normal i dont know how do you deal with unreasonable people?

I been out of the work for some time. I have a room mate who is mad since I dont have money anymore. I am not having luck finding another part time job working with a company and most places want prior experience which I dont have much of. I just have a lot of certificates and training. I was going to go freelance and do stuff like babysitting and mowing lawns. My room mate is pissed and saying I should get a job at a company but I am with 3 job agency's already who have not found me work and applied on my own for over 300 jobs and am not getting interviews. They are incredibly unreasonable.. How do I fix this? I was going to join the service but I keep failing the asvab and I am stuck.
