I've read about what happens to some people that eat their hair. It couldn't be digested and it clogged their stomachs. Be careful, OP.
You have what is called trichophagia, which is the compulsive eating of hair associated with trichotillomania (hair pulling). In trichophagia, people with trichotillomania also ingest the hair that they pull; in extreme (and rare) cases this can lead to a hair ball (trichobezoar) because hair is indigestible. No, it's not normal, but it's not like this bad habit is so strange that it's unheard of. If your friends and family haven't already caught on to the fact that you are pulling out your hair, and eating it, then tell them quickly. Many times, seeing a regular therapist could help you get over issues, like trichophagia and trichotillomania. Also, it could be an anxiety issue that antidepressant medication could treat.
Yeah, I've heard about how some other people do it. (They don't eat it though. They just like to pull them.) They say it release stresses and now, they're going bald because of it. No, it's not normal.
It can't be good for you. Ok I get a part of it, but eating your hair goes a little too far. Search for some help and I hope that you could stop with it.
I like to chew my hair. People thinks I'm crazy because I do this. I think its absolutely normal. I don't mean eating like I swallow it. I actually mean I like to bite it and chew it.
some people eat nails and some ppl eat skin around their fingers, its normal when you're nervous but eating hair is not good for your Health
