Is it normal i eat only once a day and i am still fat.

Since a year I have been eating only once a day and half of normal meal. I drink a lot of water and I am still fat like a pig (my mathematics teacher calls me a pig) she detained me because according to her I am supposed to be dumb because I am fat and I cheated because I got B+. Life is didifficult for me. Kindly suggest me what should I do.

Log everything you eat and drink. You might not be aware of exactly how many calories you are consuming. Myfitnesspal is a great app for food logging, try it for a while at least just to get a clear picture of your intake.

Well, for a start your maths teacher is the pig here: she's a bully and should be reported. How dumb is she that she thinks intelligence has anything to do with body size?

Eating only one meal a day will slow down your metabolism and keep you fat: you'd be much better to have several small ones and to exercise.

I was born fat and have been fat most of my life and I'm sick of all this fat hating and wish people would mind their own business

Eating very little may slow down your metabolism but there is NO way you can maintain or gain weight if your intake is less than you expend.

I didn't say anything about eating very little and neither did OP: the first words of my post are "Eating only one meal a day" .....

That statement is not universally true: how about the many medications which cause weight gain regardless of what's eaten or how much exercise is taken?

OP said half a meal but yeah, you didn't say it. My mistake.

Calories in vs calories out is absolute truth. You cannot maintain or gain with a calorie deficit. Period. Disputing that is nothing but fatlogic bullcrap.

No need to be insulting. Generally I agree with you but there are some medical conditions (eg malfunctioning thyroid) and some medications (eg steroids and statins) which make it virtually impossible to lose weight without starving oneself.

And what is your exercise routine like? Also on the food question about how many calories is this 1 meal? Describe other nutritional factors to like how much sodium and carbs vs protein etc.

Usually pretty blonds have that problem. And they don't care because people like them. I never taught a overweight person stupid unless they were. Same for the blondes.
