Is it normal i feel very thirsty when i/someone touches my nipples?

When i touch my nipples or someone else touches them i get very thirsty, not a dry mouth. Its almost like i crave a drink, like i feel i really need a cold glass of drink, soon.

I'm a woman and im only 20, no kids, not pregnant, but it just seems very odd. Its happened ever since i can remember.

I spoke to this lady once who did research on this exact thing (I know, it sounds like I'm making this up, I'm not). But she mentioned this effect, so it must be fairly common. I'm sure she said it varies a lot though... So yes, very normal.

She didn't explain it, so I don't know if there's a known reason for it or not.

This is an old question, but I think I have an answer. In my opinion, when our nipples are stimulated, it might send signals to our brains which were similar to when we were babies. We knew that our food comes from nipples so now stimulating our own nipples could trigger those signals. Maybe it depends on how much you were breastfed

Maybe it's because it makes you uncomfortable or excited so you get nervous? Not sure.
