Is it normal i got let go?

I worked at a warehouse and I made it to the last 60 but did not survive the to conversations. Which are in a week. I feel bad since I was so close, I also been hitting way way over rate every day and was one of the 3rd best there. Yet there is others I know who did not do as well and they kept them. I a little confused as to why they did not keep me. Isnt rate what matters?

Ask someone who worked with you. I can't judge your performance as I didn't. But the people who make these decisions are human. It could be as simple as they drew random names.

sometimes it not what you know it is who you know so it could be that the employer already knew who they were going to hire before you got let go.

Security is s tough industry. Hope you made friends with people that got laid-off. They will get you hired at new places. Get training as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). It will look good on your resume.

    • My job wasn't in security, security wont hire me despite the fact I am trained. Also I have no money for college, I not going to have a place to stay if I dont get a new job fast.

Sounds like you're better off to be out of a place like that. Good luck finding something better!

        • Why do you say that? This is the only place that would actually hire someone like me. I dont have 2 plus years in a single industry and so most places think my resume is worthless. Even though I have months of security guard training.

Also "Conversions" I think auto correct got to me. Its where they convert the temps to full time employees.
