What exactly is the point of us reproducing? For what? Just to multiply? Not really sure there is a point of us being here, so why not just live life the way that makes us happy?
What about those who are infertile, or too old to reproduce? Are their lives pointless?
Not to mention that just because it's possible for someone to reproduce doesn't necessarily mean they should. I've known so many people who were not cut out to be parents.
That brings us back to the point that some people aren't cut out to be parents, not to mention adoption is insanely expensive and requires that you pass certain criteria, which obviously not everyone will be able to. Then, there's people who just don't want to, and it's their life to make that decision with. I personally think it's much better that people who either don't want kids or realize they wouldn't make good parents are responsible enough to realize that rather than bringing kids into this world anyway only to be unable to provide them with the life those kids deserve.
I've never understood at all why some people are so bothered that not everyone wants to be a parent. Those of us who do not have kids are not stopping anyone else from having or adopting them.
