      Because they make people love them instead of each other. My mum gave all her love to her dog and didn't give a shit about us, it was like the dog hypnotized her off possessed her or something. She was it's slave.

        You're giving dogs a lot more power than they actually have: they can't "make" people love them more than they love people and they certainly don't know how to hypnotise people?
        
        If your mum loved a dog more than her kids and was its slave, that was her choice and not the dog's fault and it feels ludicrous to me that I have to point that out to you. How old are you anyway?

  Pitbulls can actually be some of the sweetest and loving dogs alive, its the owner who makes them mean and aggressive. All dogs have the ability to be that mean, but because so many people have trained those dogs to fight and be aggressive they have that reputation.
