Is it normal i hate the question, does this make me gay?

I'm usually a pretty even keel guy, but every day I see another post with someone saying they eat cum, or want a woman to peg them, or are attracted to trans women followed by does this make me gay?

As if 'gay' means anything more than the behavior it describes.

This is as stupid as putting a bottle cap on your head and sticking a label on your shirt and asking does this make me a coke bottle?

Actually it is even more stupid as the examples people give are rarely if ever things I've ever heard of a gay person doing.

Except for the 'str8' guys who really wanna suck cock, that's fuckin gay

But seriously I hate repeating myself. Liking some thing means you like that thing. Whether you call it gay or not changes nothing about what you are or what that thing is. The word gay only exists so that people can better identify if you are romantically / sexually interested in the same sex. But there is no exam you must pass to use it, nor is it ever a requirement to use it. Maybe a better question or the real question these people mean are. Will there be people who judge and denegrade me for this behavior? To which I respond fuck those people

Hey you homos came up with all these terms to begin with and now you rail against people who are confused as to what they should call themselves?? I know your label; fucking, retarded, whining, douchebag.

I am neither gay, nor did I come up with any terms, nor am I railing against people who are confuses as to what to call themselves.

Pay attention. In this conversation we are talking about the word 'gay'. This has existed for a very long time. Maybe this is too difficult for you to understand. My point is that the behavior your comes first and then the label, but you are looking at it in the opposite way.

It is entirely optional if a person choose to use a label or not. There are no official rules as to what constitutes being in what category.

My message is one people should feel empowered to embrace their behavior whatever it is and then call it whatever they want.

I feel as though you may have not fully read my post. I like your comments typically Kevin, but this one was very stupid.

At the end of the day you don't know anything. There are people who are into some things as a fantasy and it would in no way mean that they would do it in real life. And even if they did in real life, if it's just sex and there's no emotional connection then it is just that, SEX! it doesn't matter and you shouldn't feel compelled to come out to the world that you're GAY because you had a same sex encounter. At the end of the day, people will do what they want to do. If a man calls himself straight and says he likes to suck cock, to me he's straight, cause thats how he feels like. Stop caring so much about labels, they dont mean anything as human sexuality is by far the most complicated thing in the universe.

No, the question they are asking is, do I deserve to be labeled gay for x. Since we agree that's what it is, no one disputes it's a label. I have yet to seeing a question claiming gay is anything other than a label.

I feel a lot of people here saw the words "hate" and "gay" and immediately feel the need to attack me, as I am now the living manifestation of homophobia.

For those of you who do not feel the need to prove to people how woke you are, I think I did a fine job in my original post but let me restate this.

Many users on this site, (is it normal) ask this question "is it gay". I draw from this that the person asking is not looking to be told yes. The user is not worried that their cum eating or their girlfriend pegging them isn't gay enough and they want reassurance they are indeed gay. No. These are straight men that are worried their behavior makes them less of a man.

Did I say being gay is wrong? No. Did I say anything about actually gay people? No.

I would like to be able to ask a question without people filling the comments with their narratives about fighting homophobia. And are too dense to comprehend this is an anti-homophobic post to begin with.

Yeah well flame boys have kinda made "being gay" a whole thing now haven't they? You can't have it both ways. Why do gay men lisp, talk like idiot drama queens and act like flamboyant sissy retards just because they shove dicks in their mouths and asses if "being gay" isn't a "thing"?? Hmmmm

Having worked in and been surrounded by gay communities I can attest that this is a minority. Perhaps you don't notice the others as you'd have no indication that they're gay!

i had gay sex growing up , but i was really bad at it so it doesn't count right. i think to be gay you must at least kiss the guy in my opinion.

Well to be fair, you can't really call yourself heterosexual until you've had lots of gay sex and not enjoyed any of it.

I'm with you right up to the last sentence.

I identify as way over on the hetero end of the sexuality spectrum. I've never had a sexual encounter with another man and I've never been physically or romantically attracted to another man.

    However...

I have often wondered what it feels like to suck a cock. It's just an intellectual curiosity, and I'd never even consider visiting one of those tacky glory hole places.

But then I've also always been very curious about exactly what vaginal sex feels like for a woman.

    Guess I'm just curious.

It's understandable in such cases. Sexuality is not always so clear cut.

I don't understand the point you're making. I'm in agreement it is not clear cut, and I would go even further to say that 'cuts' whatsoever are completely arbitrary in this case. If there's an understanding that a person is unique in their preference, why should it hold any relevance if their behavior is considered 'gay' or not?

They are asking if the behavior indicated their sexuality not if society considers it gay. Like "if I like pegging am I gay" is to say they believe only a gay man would want it in the button because he desires penis. Therefore is gay. It's not hard to understand why this is confusing. Demanding everyone know it right away means you don't understand it's sometimes hard to figure out.

That's a fair point, and changes my view to an extent. However I see it then as a matter of the poster's ignorance. To really break down the question in your example that question is, "I enjoy receiving penetrative sex from a woman, do I enjoy receiving penetrative sex from a man?". I don't approach this with much sensitivity as I have no reason to believe any of these posters are gay. I have no demands people find what they like, and use labels if they like, but my point is the label brings nobody closer with truth. And used in this sense implies some false commonality amongst gays. Their shared experience lies only in their treatment and cultures developed in response. It is not as though 'knowing you're gay' gives you any further insight as to what you like or who you are.

Homosexuality exists if you want to label it or not. People simply want to understand what they are into. You really can't blame people for trying to understand themselves even if you don't feel like calling it something. Complaining about people saying stuff like "I like cooking am I gay" is a more realistic complaint because that is a cultural stereotype and not accurate or something all gay's are into. Getting angry people want to understand what they are into is irrational.

I feel we are in agreement. Perhaps it is just more obvious to me than you that cum eating, pegging, and attraction to transgender people are infact even more ridiculous to connect to homosexuality than cooking

It amazes me how many people on the internet (so I presume in real life too) think that a woman pegging a man is somehow gay.
Gay obviously means same-sex sex, and that is clearly opposite-sex sex.
I can only conclude it's a mixture of stupidity and homophobia.

      That leaves me bewildered too.

Most gay guys like having their cock sucked, so I guess some people must think that any man who enjoys fellatio is gay?

Most guys like having their cocks sucked. You act like women have never given a man a blow job ever. That's complete nonsense.

  • If u ever have to ask yourself or anyone else if something makes you gay, them you already know the answer. You are fucking gay. Embrace it or live your life as a closet fag.
All straight men like us hate that question. Its not just you.
