Is it normal i hate video games?

When I was in high school I used to hang with a bunch of gamer kids and they were lame. They only ever wanted to sit down and play and talk about video games every day, never wanted to go out and meet or talk to girls, or do anything social. I stopped hanging out with them and now im in my 20s and if I see them they're definitely all still virgins. I just dont play video games any more cause of this.

    It's a passion that they really love, good for them. You shouldn't judge them for it. Maybe they find going out to bars or hanging out really boring, everyone's different.

    I'm not a virgin.
    I have a girlfriend, and we're moving in together.

    I think it's weird for you to sort of look down on people who do. I don't like clubbing and stuff AT ALL but I don't look down on people who do.

    You could try to just, you know, befriend people with mutual interests instead?

      No, but im convinced video games really are wasting youth. Alla the things you could get away with at that age and you're playing video games

    Yeah i get the same thing. The flea market i go to has a whole area of colelctibles and figures and stuff, theres some really cool stuff, but there's always a bunch of permavirgins hanging around getting way too into it, everything in their lives revolves around make believe and fantasy and they don't live real lives.

      Games aren't the problem but yeah, a lot of kids nowadays live like this and its sad. This kid they hired at my job is like 21, never had a girlfriend, spends all his free time running card game and video game tournaments. It's sad, like wasting youth.
