Is it normal i hate women that show off their bodies in obnoxious ways?
To start off, I am a woman that lives in a Western country and am by no means opposed to women showing skin. It's a perfectly normal thing to do, especially during the summer, but that isn't exactly what I'm talking about.
What I consider appropriately showing skin:
-I can't see your butt cheeks from your shorts
-Your nipples are NOT poking out of your chest
-I can't see a butt crack
-Your shirt isn't basically see-through (it is okay if you have a bra on)
-Your leggings aren't see through
-7/8 of your breasts aren't showing
Okay, so they want to look hot. That isn't the problem; my issue is the fact that they don't leave anything to the imagination.
I've seen plenty of girls that show skin, are sexy and not ashamed of it, but do it tastefully. The clothes they choose compliment their body perfectly, but it seems like most people don't get that.
You can't just toss on something that barely covers you and expect people to think you're sexy. It is also about the kind of personality you give off (a level of maturity and self-respect. "I know I'm hot, but that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want to me!")
Ever see those pictures of people saying "Hey, check out my new socks!" and you have to play a game of Where's Waldo to see what they're talking about? The picture is of them, totally naked, and you can just barely see their socks.
There is something annoyingly misleading about this, even though no one would "fall for it" per se. It just makes me want to scream; if you're going to something sl*tty, at least be honest about it!
(Also they can't be bothered to put it on an appropriate platform, of course. News flash: I don't think your grandma wants to stare at your naked body while looking through facebook.)
If they were to post sexy pictures and say "hey check out my bod" I wouldn't be so frustrated. (You can't exactly be coy while having your ass out, so just be honest.)
I feel like most of these women are narcissistic, egotistical and generally terrible people to be around. Does that make me a bad person/bad judge of character?
