Is it normal I have always sided with the political left but now feel it's been taken over by left wing extremists?
Example- I'm watching CNN today and there is a story about some British parliament member who may or may not have mouthed the phrase "Stupid woman" after the Prime ministers speech. So the News anchor and others are all upset that it's terrible and sexist. So I'm thinking to myself "When did the word woman become offensive? She doesn't have a penis so stupid man certainly isn't appropriate. It also seemed like such a first world problem. It's not like he mouthed stupid bitch." Its just just seems so wimpy to get that upset over someone maybe mouthing Stupid Woman. If you don't want to be called a stupid man or stupid woman, don't act like one. is it normal I'm getting tired of everyone's hyper-sensativity?

    Slow news day I guess. Stop being so sensitive. The world is not like this.

    If you had to spend 24 hours a day 7 days a week talking, you'd say some pretty ridiculous things too.

    Figure the source when deciding how much weight to put on statements.

    try Jorden peterson or even sam harris's non atheist talks. both lean left but seem to be good voices for pointing out some of the nonsense the left has found itself in.
