Is it normal i have come to realise i have an anxiety disorder?

I have not been diagnosed but I know for sure that I do...:/
I don't know what treatment to seek as my anxiety trigger always changes and I can get anxious over nothing:/
I can't afford CBT and do not want to worsen it by taking prescription medication.. What actually helps? I fight with my thoughts day in, day out and its exhausting! Its like most the time I struggle to rationalize things and anxiety takes over.

Talk to your doctor about it.

I know you already said you aren't interested and I respect that, but if you have the funds or time I really would recommend getting a professional diagnosis. I believe what you are saying but when push comes to shove, us normal folk aren't doctors. On another note, it's also a possibility that you may have a panic disorder. (A subsection of general anxiety disorder or (GAD)) I would recommend researching that if you haven't already. Best wishes! You aren't alone.

Get diagnosed. Im sick of all these people who self diagnose mental illness. Just because u feel anxious doesnt mean u have an anxiety dissorder. Everyone feels anxiety, having an actually dissorder is a lot more complicated than that.

    • Excuse me but I don't just make a diagnosis for the hell of it! I have gone through panic attacks on a daily basis for more than 5 months to the point where i couldn't eat, sleep or function. This was over 2 years ago bit now I have mini panic attacks on a daily basis that are draining.

    Hi
Don't worry. Anxiety and depression are conditions that are very treatable
    I have both myself

First off you could start by writing down your thoughts and keeping a track of your moods and feelings. You could also use a diary to explore why you may be feeling that way

Secondly you need to detox. Detox from everything/everyone negative around you. These things will only keep you in a trap. Stay away

Thirdly have someone positive that you can confide in and make aware of how you're feeling. They should be able to keep secrets, be caring and have love for you. If you don't have anyone like this not to worry you could also join free support communities online.

Look at your diet. The things we eat have a huge impact on our mood. Cut out carbs and try to eat more greens, nuts and drink more water.

Buy some vitamins from your local pharmacy. These are essential for combating depression and other mental health related issues.

Use YouTube for cbt techniques and to learn more about your condition. Some very useful and free information on there.

Don't be afraid to see your doctor!

Try to distract yourself when you're feeling anxious. Is there a game on your phone you could play? Go for a walk while listening to music

Plan your day and stick to it. The feeling of accomplishment will help you to feel more positive.

    Good luck!

From my experience CBT only tell you things you can read off the internet anyway. They basically just given me websites either links or printed off and said do it yourself. So I would say try to research on your own like you're doing here. you sound pretty young and also it was not super detailed so I'm not really sure what else to tell you unless you feel like elaborating a bit, which disorder do you believe it ? GAD?
