Is it normal i have red spots all over my arms and legs?

I have very tiny red dots going across all of my arms and legs and a little bit on my chest and back. I'm 18 and I've had them for all my life, squeezing them doesn't do anything and all my friends have asked about it because they've never seen it before.

It makes me embarrassed of my body, I want to remove them but I don't know how. I have tried cutting them off but it hurts, but there is no blood. They are not flat because when I feel them they are bumpirer than my skin. Idk what they are but the doctor said it's nothing to worry about but he's never told me what they are and I've never seen anyone else with them?

I get them in the form of allergic reactions. If you've tried any new body wash products recently, it could be related to that.

I had to stop using Old Spice body wash because of this.

If it's not that, I'd recommend just popping by your family doctor to have a dermatologist look at it.

    But don't worry,
Nobody looks at conditions like that that are fairly common as anything other than "Oh, she must have allergies."

    Don't worry.

Had these all my life. Tiny blood vessels close to the skin surface. Totally harmless. Don't squeeze them.

Took me three seconds to google "tiny red dots on skin."

Known as petechiae, these tiny red or purple spots often appear in clusters -- typically on the chest, back, face, or arms -- and are a side effect of the blood's failure to clot. They may be confused with a rash, although they're really broken blood vessels and capillaries resulting from low platelet count.

    Personally I think it's AIDS.
