Is it normal i hug my dog with his forehead resting against my shoulder?

Sometimes I hug my dog and his head rests against my shoulder for the duration of the hug. It's the cutest thing ever and I think my dog likes it.

        Cute! Today I was wearing an infinity scarf. I sat my dog on my lap and he laid against my scarf and fell asleep, it was obscenely cute:)

    None of my kitties are very cuddly. My doggie however likes hugs and cuddles and such :) I love them all though!
