Is it normal i idolize nikola tesla

I think he was the greastest human mind ever to have existed. Edison is a joke compared to him.

Tesla was fucked over by greedy assholes and we still have not come to the level of sophostication that he created.

Humans are assholes and silenced his brilliant ideas and inventions keeping us as cave men for 100 years.

It is time to release his inventions. Please.

DaVinci was a distant second.

Who is your favorite inventor?

Nikola Tesla 16
Albert Einstein 7
Thomas Edison 4
Leonardo DaVinci 12

Einstein wasn't an inventor, he was a theoretical physicist.

That is true. Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I had a brain fart. I sometimes don't distinguish between novel thought, and inventions

I mean, Tesla created a fucking earthquake machine, was set to create free electricity (but rich assholes stopped that), created AC just to annoy Edison (who's Direct Current was lame af (also Edison was such an asshole, he ripped off Tesla and attempted a prove Alternating Current was bad by electrocuting animals using AC)), created early X Ray imaging and a goddam wireless controlled boat and this was in the late 19th century.

Edison was a cunt. Apparently both Edison and Tesla were set to win the Noble Prize in the early 1900s.
Tesla refused out of pride and Edison refused because Tesla would get $20,000 as prize money (at the time Edison was rich and didn't need the money and Tesla had an unknown amount of unpaid bills) (this is all theory though because the Noble Prize Committee denied this).

  • If all four of these guys were working together in the same room, they would been the ultimate scientific team.

Leonardo would have examined the world around him and have sketched his idea for some mind boggling invention that would advance society greatly

Einstein would have thought up the theories and applied mathematics to them to show that their ideas could work.

Tesla would have designed and built the invention in a common sense and usable way.

Edison would have kept the other three awake and alert so that they could brainstorm all night by bringing them coffee.

From the list you provided and the time periods I would have to pick Tesla. Edison was a fumbling idiot in comparison. But what if Leonardo was alive in our time period. He was brilliant.

There are still inventions of Tesla that are kept secret.

We would not have alternating current if it wasn't for Tesla.

Edison was still fumbling around with batterys. Wasn't it Tesla who invented the electric motor and generator?

Yes it was!! Westinghouse, GE stimmied him. He was such a brilliant mind. I want to fuck him. Edison was dark ages.

To be frank tho. Tesla was a dreamer and gave everything away. You have to be good at business. He wasnt 😩😳😳😳😳

      • lordofopinions

You are correct. Edison would steal ideas from Tesla, patent them and market them. Edison was good at marketing stuff but next to useless when it came to inventions. It took something like 100 attempts for Edison to come up with a working light bulb. I bet Tesla would have done it much quicker.

Edison was kicked out of school in grade 3 because his teachers said he did not have the intelligence to continue in school and suggested his mother teach him what she could which she did. That should tell you something.

Tesla is a true genius! the biggest one! Alberd Einstein was a chatter and DaVinci was a dreamer compared to him. He did not only theorised or made drawings, he made the real stuff. He is the one responsible for basically everything that we have today. Most of our tech is related to an invention of his. Damn, your very pc or cellphone would not exist without him!

Didn't he marry a pigeon or something? Bit of a nutcase I heard, but then so were a lot of the great ones. I chose Leo da Vinch from the list of inventors. For minds in general I like Einstein or Newton (apparently he was a wackjob too).

          -
        • lordofopinions

That STARTED him thinking of the laws of motion, the attraction of objects like the moon circling the earth because of attraction which we call gravity. And he came up with proof that if you doubled the distance between two objects the attraction is the square root of the attraction of their original position. He was a genius if his day. Remember this was in the latter part if the 1600's to early 1700's.

If I were asked the greatest inventor of all time it would be hard to choose. Archimedes, Leonardo da Vinci, Tesla. There are those who would be able to add more to the list but these are INVENTORS not theorists like Einstein for instance.

If you want your mind blown with numbers just Google "fibonocci numbers". The concept is credited to Leonardo of Pisa, known as Fibonacci in 1202 but there are references back as far as 200BC. Fibonocci number sequences are common in nature such as the pattern of flower petals.

The fibonocci sequence is very easy to understand if you do a quick read on it.

Ah yes. I remember that. Tesla was going to use the tower to test and demonstrate his idea of wireless electricity. The Tesla Coil is an offspring of this idea. It's only used these days to simulate lightning strikes on things like aircraft fly by wire systems or in high voltage "tricks" on stage shows.
