Is it normal i kill catch and have to identify any insect/spider i find?

Every time I find a insect or spider in my house I have identify it. If its a insect/spider I cant identify I go online and do research to see if I can identify it. I also have nightmares of insects crawling all over me and dying from spider bites. I have had infestations in my house before and they are really creepy. I sometimes tell people about these weird facts I found out but no one want to hear it. They think its creepy.

    I have an affinity with spiders. We both hate baths and scare girls away
