Is it normal i kiss my bird?

when i let him out he runs up to me trying to get me to kiss him if i don't he'll climb up my shirt to give me a kiss. he likes to be kissed on his beak/top of head and wings and makes weird noises when i do it and starts dancing.

he always wants me to kiss him though even if i already gave him a kiss he will keep wanting more even if i'm busy what should i do

I've kissed birds before, I've also kissed cats, dogs and rats.

As long as you don't want to fuck your bird.

It's normal to kiss your pet. I used to kiss my chickens and my dog back when I still had them.

Close contact with birds can lead to an incurable and fatal lung condition, so I wouldn't be kissing him at all and certainly not on demand: who's in charge here, the bird or you? Get him a mate and keep your mouth away from him.

Google "bird fanciers disease": there's heaps of information on the net. The person I knew who caught it had worked closely with various birds for years and died about six months after he was diagnosed. I'm sure he didn't kiss any birds: it's the close contact that's potentially dangerous, not specifically kissing.
