Is it normal i like to know people without them knowing?

i like to get to know users on here. i read their comments and profiles, if available i read their questions. when i go through polls and questions i lookout for their usernames. through practise iv become quite good at it. i learn the way they communicate. so the way they write their sentences and learn what their intrest are and the type of things they are intrested in. so i search the questions and topic they are likely to answer and find more of their older comments. users with multiple users are the most fun because they still have the same style of sentences so its like a game to figure it out. through this i find out alot about users. such as where they live due to keywords they use or the times they are active. there is alot more details iv missed out. so is it normal i really enjoy getting to know people withourlt them knowing?

    Since most on the internet aren't anything like they are IRL, your results are flawed, and your whole premise is faulty.

    Lurker, you are. Normal. Ya know, there are good career options for people like you with the NSA,CIA, consumer research, and other opportunities like a biography writer, or lol, celebrity blogger. Just don't end up truly stalking anyone, that's just creepy, lol! I think Google stalking is omitted here, ha ha. Be real, people do this. Meet someone and not long later, its time to do a quick Google search.

    I do think it's normal. i like to know things about people before i actually become friends with them, but for me it is with people around me, in real life. for example, if i realise that i am starting to like someone, i'll just google them to see what i can find out about them online. although, this probably stems from my ridiculously socially awkward nature.
