I just get really worked up and nervous around them. I feel like I can't shop with enough privacy, and they see what I buy and everything. Its really scary.

    Maybe try shopping online, so you don't have anyone judging your sense of fashion.

    Just act casually and avoid looking at them if it's much of a fuss.

    As a cashier I can tell you that, like most cashiers, I really don't give a crap about what a person buys in the store even if it's considered an embarrassing item to some. We just ring it up, put it in a bag, and move on to the next person.

    I give them a straight look that says "Oy, I'm browsing, fuck off." Just focus on why you're there.
