Is it normal i'm this upset about damaging my cat's food dish?

A few days ago I accidentally damaged my cat's food dish. Now it's chipped. I feel like crying right now over this.

It was such a cute food dish and not exactly cheap. I even slapped myself in the face several times because I'm so angry about this.

I'm 25 years old. How can anyone be so stupid at my age. Is it normal I'm this upset over accidentally damaging my cat's food dish?

Don't feel bad, the kitty will soon return the favor by breaking your vase, jumping on the xmas tree and taking it down like a boss, throwing up hairballs on your couch, attacking the ankles of guests, practicing spidey skills on curtains late at night -- all while not giving a shit. Heil katze!

Don't worry about it. Your kitties don't want to you pull a Dobby. It's understandable to be a little upset about it. Remember that they love you, don't be too hard on yourself. :)
