Is it normal i now think of melanin as a blessing?
I was bullied about it in school a lot, but now I'm proud and happy that I'll never get a sunburn like how most of them did on our field trips.

I dunno, I'm rather light skinned, but not pale per se. I do sunburn sometimes, but rarely freckle, because I don't go in the sun a lot. Just love the skin you're in.
If you think about it .. People of color can withstand all temperatures of the planet. There's an exclusive reason for that relating to spiritualism and reality in itself.
People of pale descent .. Think of them as a plague .. Generations down the row did not choose that fate, it was determined from the get-go ..
People that are classified as White also have people of melanin in them, regardless of their ignorance, regardless of who's in their family.
Although you may not burn as easily it is still wise to use sun cream I recently had to have a sebharroic keratosis growth removed off my back linked to sun bathing and am slightly dark skinned.
Good for you.
It's good when people don't give a shit what others think.
Don't let them fuck with your dreams.
