Is it normal i prefer people with autism

is it normal that i find people who have autism much more interesting and would we willing to date them but i’m more doubtful when someone has not. and when i don’t know if they’re autistic and we become friends or even date it almost always turns out they do. i don’t know if i’m autistic myself.

I’m autistic and I do not take offence to this at all. I think it’s nice you find people like me interesting.

One thing I realized about autists is that they treat you like a tool because they're unable to understand emotion or that the world doesn't revolve around them. Unless you're also autistic, don't bother. I knew 3 autists and they're the worst friends I've ever had. Feels like walking on eggshells when trying to explain you're tired of listening to their 30 minute rants

autism is a spectrum though, you can't just generalize them all because you know like 3 people with it over the thousands that have it. sure there are autistic people that struggle with emotions or socializing however there's also plenty that are very good with their emotions and empathetic.

All autistics are the same, they're all honest and you know it, they're all insecure about issues concerning you, and almost all of them are Christian and religious in every way, it's called a gift from our Lord.

not all of them, as i stated before autism is an entire spectrum, one person could have certain issues however another person could have completely different issues. there could be a person with autism that is highly intelligent however struggles with conveying emotion or social skills, however there could be a person who may struggle or be slower in learning but is very social and understands social cues and how to communicate appropriately; or you could have a complete mix of both.

you can't categorize all people with autism into one type as it is a vast spectrum of differing traits and symptoms, you can't just say "every autistic person is honest" or anything like that because that's not how autism works. also idk why you brought being christian into a topic about autism i don't see the connection

It's because I have a friend for an autistic Christian, all autists are the same, you wouldn't get a diagnosis if you weren't the same, autists belong in a group, they're not unique, they're not quirky, they're typical autistics like they all are.

I'm autistic & I nor any of the other autistics I've known throughout School in the CDC classes I was in have been completely unable to understand people's emotions/feelings/desires, nor do we think we're the most important people in the world, nor do we tend to use people as tools for our own betterment at their expense. The last two traits you described sounds more like psychopaths & narcissists.

If I had to describe them & me they are fiercely/suicidally loyal to their loved ones (unless said loved one wrong them then they'll quit loving them like a flip of a switch), blunt & brutally honest to the point of being rude, have abysmal social skills at first but all the ones that wanted to get better at it did and have savant level skills in their interests (or really I should say obsessions)

I will give you the ranting part, they all did it. Myself included until I realized I was doing it & started making my sentences as short & straight to the point as possible in verbal conversations.

Well I think rudeness isn't an option, everyone should be a gentleman, don't overlook this, the rules apply to you. Besides everything else autistic people often are God-fearing Christians, indoctrination into beliefs from their parents or friends, and if not they're atheists or antitheists thinking all this disbelief is as necessary as putting on your reading glasses, there's no need to act as if you're different to that, all people are the same.

This had nothing to do with the topic at hand.

"autistic people often are God-fearing Christians"

All but 1 autistic person I knew were/are atheists.

"indoctrination into beliefs from their parents or friends"

          That goes for everyone.

          "all people are the same."

          No.

The answer's yes, I'm sure you'll disagree, my friend Sean Borda's a Christian and not surprisingly he's anti-atheist and he's autistic.
Of course you have the option of your insecurities quoting everything everybody says, or you can be a normal happy person cutting it out, also you repeat what we say because you're trying to fill in your unprofessional conduct with shit as if we don't know what we're talking about. You're not mocking us, but you're being a jerk.

              No.

              "I'm sure you'll disagree"

              Yes.

"Of course you have the option of your insecurities quoting everything everybody says"

That's to structure the argument/debate so you'll know what i'm replying too.

"also you repeat what we say because you're trying to fill in your unprofessional conduct with shit as if we don't know what we're talking about."

              No.

"You're not mocking us, but you're being a jerk."

              Inapposite.

I think it depends of the person, and the severity of their autism, as it's on a spectrum.

Um actually I'm autistic and I'm one of the most emotionally intelligent people I know. You are probably the most annoying and ableist person I've come across on this site.

i don’t know if i have autism, but i am neurodivergent. i have giftedness and often feel that autistic people can better bear my odd interests and i
feel less judged/intimidated. i found out that 80-90% of my friends have autism but i for some reason feel evil for this

It's not normal to like people with autism, people act as if that just because it's a spectrum that all autistics are different, well they're not, we're all the same and no one has autism. We're just normal people and you know it, you're nothing, you're just normal people, period.

Dude what are you even talking about? Nothing you say makes any coherent sense. Ok so every autistic person has the same name, hair colour, personality, likes, dislikes etc wtf?? You don't make any sense

Yes I see, but I'm not pretending that autism matters. They all enjoy manga (I've got a manga for a keypad), computer games or in your case I enjoy phone games, they all love 100% food cooked by somebody to the way they like it, that's what I'm referring to.
Besides that if any autistic should lack understanding in something I will give them a description.

No you're not, you're silly people and you troll me and have no fun, you're arseholes. Awesome means it's excellent, no one with a mental illness did anything great and as for an autistic man saying from quoting me "stop being autistic", if I could I wouldn't, I rest my case, once an unwell person giving a psychiatrist a migraine always an unwell person giving a psychiatrist a migraine.

You might have autism yourself but maybe you're not as high on the spectrum. I'd get tested if I were you. I think autistic people are definitely interesting but I find it harder to connect with most of them on a deeper level especially romantically
