Is it normal i saw pitch black person in my room?

I woke up in the middle of night (nothing I do it sometimes and go back to sleep) butwthis time I saw a pitch black figure standing next to my bed and I jolted with fear and it disappeared. If it was REM dream then I can't explain myself the water on floor where it was standing.

Oh no....This is bad....I think if you lay a chicken and waffles trap out, you may be able to catch it....Good luck, these creatures are a dangerous enemy, very unpredictable...

My friend had that dream. Well....it wasn't a dream, at least that's what she said (dropped a cup or something).

She saw this black figure twice.

The first time she saw him, he was just there and disappeared. Still freaked her out.

The second time, he was wearing a black cape with a hood and had long skeletal fingers......almost like the reaper o.O

She found out that it was the Devil who was trying to kill her. Or something.

This happens to a lot of people for a lot of reasons, google "sleep paralysis" it is usually accompanied by hallucinations of omnious figures like the one you described

    • I doubted it to be a REM dream but there was water on the floor.

It was real, I've seen them before too. I remember one time waking up and seeing one bent over the person I was sleeping with, for some reason I could not move.

    • If you couldn't move probably it was a REM dream. I don't know about mine because I was scared and maybe because I flintched I woke up and it disappeared. But then there was water on the floor.

Not a dream, my eyes were open and I was aware of the whole room. After it vanished I was able to move and woke her up...

        • That's how REM dreams are you dream with eyes open and the dream figures merge with what you see. But it can't always be dream but during a REM dream you will not be able to move.
But no one can say for sure. It might be real too.

Can you talk and hear people in REM sleep? Or are you saying that anyone who finds themselves to be paralyzed for a short period of time while being awake is actually not awake but is in REM sleep.

Only if you drank too much Nyquil before bed.

Nyquil followed by a big shot of semen = good dreams

I was awake, and my friend was still sleeping in the bed beside me. Her grandmother was snoring outside our room on the couch-bed. And my mother says that around the time I saw that thing she felt a chill (past midnight) and she was in another state (I was in Virginia on a busch gardens trip).

I remember this dream at least twice. Walked past my open bedroom door.

  • I've seen them too. I think they're probably death gods. Horrible events often follow their appearance.

    • What happened after you saw them?

      • There are some things I can never talk about but I will give a vague answer.
Years back I did some stuff people may consider supernatural practices.
They started appearing. They're 2 dimensional and can move very quickly. Talking about them can attract them too.
People have died after seeing them or talking about them. That's all I can get into for now. I'm not even certain if they're related to what has happened but it has been a terrifying experience.

        • Yes it was 2 dimentional. Like a shadow on a glass.
