Is it normal i see afterimages when i close my eyes?

Is it normal that when I look on something bright, and close my eyes, I see afterimage from it for 20-30 seconds (with my eyes closed). It's better noticeable when I watching TV at night in my bed? IIN?

    It is normal to see after images of bright objects.
    If you see positive/negative after images of everything you look at this is known as Palinopsia which is not normal.

    I see an after image of everything I look at which is either positive or negative depending on the contrast of the background of the next image I see.
