Is it normal i still think of teenagers as kids?
When I think about teenagers and see them I see them as kids now. Comes with getting older I suppose. I didn't think I was a kid when I was a teenager but I really see it in hindsight.

From my perspective, you're almost certainly just a punk kid too, dude.
Seriously, yeah, of course it's normal that your perception of teens as shifted as you put those years of your life further and further behind. However, my experience is that I've become increasingly understanding of the foolishness of youth as I've got older. Not that I don't think that the majority of teenagers overestimate their comprehension of the world, take themselves far too seriously, suffer from the delusion that their experiences are utterly unique and often fall into the trap of believing that their perspective of the world's problems is the only valid one. They do all that stupid shit, but then so did every generation before the current crop of teens - including my own.
Yes, I do too. I'm going on 27, so not terribly older than one, and they still seem like children to me. 🤣 In my opinion, there's quite a difference between the way a teen thinks and the way an adult does, which is why they seem so young to us, and yes, getting older is also a part of it.
There's also no way that the 2000's were long ago enough for kids born in that decade to be in their teens to early 20's now. 🤣 Just no. No way a kid born when I was in junior high is now that same age! Seriously, where did the time go?
