Is it normal i take pictures of dead animals?

So I was in bed, and I had my cat on the bed with me. He got up and left and about two minutes later he came back in meowing. So I looked over the edge of my bed, to see that he had come back in... with a dead mouse! At first I found it quite disgusting, but then I looked more carefully at the mouse and looked at it in more detail. I have taken a few photos of it, but now I've thrown it away. Is it weird that I wanted to take photos of it and keep them? I wouldn't do anything with them, just keep them to look at now and again. But I've seen roadkill when I've been out before and I've always just wanted to stop, look at it more carefully, and take a few photos (I think it's just my obsession with nature really!) I'm just not sure if this would be seen as a strange thing to do?

I have a friend who takes pictures of all the roadkill she comes across when on a roadtrip. She ten uploads it onto Facebook. She is absolutely gorgeous, but been single forever (probably because of this)

    • But that's something I wouldn't do (unless requested by a page or something). I wouldn't upload it to social media because of course not everyone finds it intriguing like I do.

That's pretty cute tbh. Weird, but cute.

Lol I thought I was the only one. I study photography at my university and my professors love it when I show them photos of road kill and really anything that's otherwise seen as gross, scary, crazy, or dangerous. I've climbed on top of old deteriorated buildings just to get the perfect shots. Whatever makes you happy, as long as it's not illegal or REALLY twisted.

No its weird. You need to hear the truth. People should have a natural aversion to dead rotting things. If you are interested in anatomy or live nature that is normal. Looking at or wanting to be near dead things, something is wrong. Go talk to a therapist before you venture into stranger territory.

You feel that anything that had breath at first has a life event moment. Its normal that you capture those moments.
