Is it normal i talk to plants???

It started with house plants because I hear that it helps them grow but now I find myself out on the streets talking to rose bushes and trees and the grass!!

People look at me like I'm crazy!

I have even been banned from the local floral shop because I would spend hours everyday talking to the plants and the old lady that ran the shop got sick of seeing me in there.

Is this normal? I just want these poor sweeties to grow!
