Is it normal i tell coach that i hurt my knee? i don't want to seem weak
Hey so if anyone else runs hurdles for track they probably understand my not wanting to talk to my coach. A little over a week ago my car door closed on my knee, but I ignored it, then instead of the side hurting where I hurt it, my knee cap hurts but I don't want to tell coach, because he is under the impression that I'm a hard worker and don't give up. I've only backed out of one work out ever earlier this year and today I almost couldn't jump the hurdles!! I'm not some one who complains about injuries, but today it got to the point of where I did and my mom doesn't believe that my knee is actually hurt!!
I know that if you roll your ankle you wrap it in a bandage or wear a brace. What do you do for a hurt knee?? My mom said ice it, but no bandage. Should I just ice it and keep running on it??
