I simply cannot believe there is a being that I can't see or have proof of and be devoted to. why do people believe it? I can't understand why. I've tried to and it makes no f*cking sense to me.
Yeah I’m with you. Like wut? Huge god sitting on his throne with a large sword or some shit. I don’t believe in any of it. Why doesn’t he answer my prayers? It’s just disappointing really.
Humans way back invented God to explain existence. Now we have science and evolution to explain things.

Connection with the divine is one of the most sought after things in history. when it was discovered, it became a tradition. It is hardly something you can simply go and discover by ourself
People are just afraid of nature & death so they make up a God to explain things. There is absolutely no proof of God's existence.
ALSO: I don't understand why so many people criticize OTHER religions but dont do the same to their own. They're all painfully similar lol.
It's human nature to fear things that we don't understand. To deal with the fear of death, something inevitable, we've created an explanation for it and because so many people are scared out of their minds of death, they believe the bullshit. This is coming from someone who used to go to church 3 days a week lol.
Basically it is. There are lots of things in existence we can't see or have proof of. Personal feelings / ideas / thoughts, for example.
