Is it normal i think it's stupid when people accuse others of trolling?

I will admit I have trolled before, but I'm usually not and when I am it's absurd humor and usually obvious. Often when I am not I am accused of trolling for reasons I do not understand and I see others accused of trolling for similar things too. Often when I see other people accused of trolling I do not think they are because I agree with what they are saying but other people seem to think it's so far out that they must be trolling. I realize I have some very unpopular opinions and behaviors but to think that anyone who claims to do and think these things is trolling is stupid. I've met way crazier people than me too. If you can imagine it, someone is probably doing it. That's the great thing about this site because it informs us how weird people can actually be.

    Yea the troll burning is almost just as counter productive as trolling itself. Any incest story, must be a troll, I mean that one has been typical but I've come across a number of them. Worst thing is sometimes I start feeling the same way.

    A troll is a succesful troll when its funny.That means that trolls of iin are not on this list.

    Yes, the only time I assume someone is trolling is if the story does not match up. Like they say "I killed my dog but my dog died of old age" right next to each other. See that makes no sense unless your dog died twice. Also yes I agree its annoying when people assume everything too out of the ordinary is a troll. I mean this is a site called "Isitnormal.com" is there really such a thing as TOO Abnormal?

      making a dead baby rape a dog while u jack off with the inside of a cactus? i think that would be pretty abnormal i havent heard that on this site. also yea i hate it when people call people trolling, they dont even use it right they are starting to use it as only an insult.

        Well yes stuff like that is ovbious trolling. However people assume "Oh I got hit by a bus yesterday and lived. The bus drive did not stop to see if I was ok". Its very possible someone got hit by a bus. Assuming someone living is from being hit by a bus is foolish.

    I think the meaning of trolling has expanded a lot lately. It used to be reserved to individuals who would just add gibberish to a forum or pitch people against each other or hurt people for the sake of hurting them.

    A lot of people don't seem to get the meaning of "troll" and simply use it as an insult when they don't agree with someone. I also just state my thoughts sometimes and people think I'm trolling, so I just go with it, a lot of my posts (not on this site) are half trolling half serious. it's sort of like a defense mechanism for me with my unpopular opinions... to play it off like i was only trolling, if the argument gets too intense... while still hearing people's opinions on the subject
