Is it normal i think my brother is starting a gang/cult

My brother is 20 and attending University while he lives at home. Over the past couple months these depressing looking punks have been showing up to our house to drop money off for my brother, like, a LOT of money. At first we thought he was dealing drugs, but that turned out to be not true.

These guys are between 16-25 and are complete punks but talk about my brother like he’s some god and they get super pissed off if you bad mouth him. They’re all scummy.

My brother has always had pretty devilish charisma, he’s talked kids into doing his work for him his whole life, even as a kid. He’s a bully but he knows just how to blow smoke up your ass and make you think you’re worth something special to him.

My mom and I have confronted him on this many times but he will just smirk it off and act like a smug asshole talking about “I can’t help that I have people bring me gifts, they must really like me. You want me to be liked, don’t you?”

He’s manipulated my family and strong armed them into giving him everything, he lives like a rockstar while my mother has to struggle to buy new work clothes.

    Investigate! If you find out why they're giving him money then plz reply to this so I can find out too.

    Also, what he's doing to your mum sounds not very nice, but if he's managed to flatter his friends into giving him cash then that seems alright, but I don't know anyone who could do that. Even great salesmen need a shitty product to sell. There's something deeper to this...

    You are right to suspect him in being up to no good...
    I strongly suggest you go to the police dept... DO NOT tell your brother, your parent, any of your friends or otherwise that you are going to do this or that you have done so. That COULD BE dangerous.

    Ask to speak with someone in their Gang Unit and let them know what is going on...

    IF you can, without being seen at all or without being caught (AND ONLY IF YOU CAN BE SURE NOBODY SEES YOU DOING SO!!!), try taking some clear pictures with your cell phone of the faces of those coming to the door and giving your brother all this money before going to the police... and then take those photos with you to them so they can download them... AND THEN DELETE them from the phone when law enforcement has them... This will help them...

    Look, if your brother is into something he should not be doing, then you will be doing him and the rest of your family and loved ones a HUGE FAVOR by getting to it now instead of waiting till it is too late.
