Is it normal i think some of the naruto characters resemble the dragon ball z?

I think some of the naruto characters have simalar designs and personalities to Dragon ball Z. Even though dragon ball Z is a much better anime. I noticed naruto and his rival resemble Goku and vegeta. Do you agree? Vegeta and sasuke have the same cocky attitude. Simalar hiar styles. Both wear blue as the original design. Saskue has arm covers and vegeta wears gloves. If you cut off the toes of his shoes it would be like the standard Naruto sandals.

    A lot of anime personalities tend to follow certain archetypes and molds. It's not unusual to see similarities.

    Actually most of shounen animes are very similiar to each other. They all have some "goofy" and crazy characters (mostly main) and they all have this dark and cool character. Then annoying girl that noone likes. I haven't seen DBZ myself (yet) but I think most of shounen animes were heavily influenced by DBZ, Inuyasha or other popular old animes.

    It's because they both run in Shonen Jump and DBZ was the prototypical shonen manga. The other 2 out of "The Big Three" (One Piece and Bleach) have similarities to it too.

        I enjoyed inuyasha though I found it very generic. I also hate how long we had to wait for them to finish off the series. Since they left the first 150 episodes left in a cliff hanger. Which they took another 7 years to start making new ones.

          True. I didn't follow the series very diligently but I do remember being left hanging, which sucked. I moved onto better things quickly though.

            If it makes any difference they killed kagura(feather chick following naraku). Sesshomuru killed her. She appreciated it. Sesshomuru has a siter. Kikyou dies and miroku and sango get married and have kids. Kagome goes home and says bye to her family and comes back to live with inuyasha. She graduates high school and tells her family and everyone buy forever. They finally kill naraku and sango finally gets her little brother back. That is how the series ends. They made about 20 I think to finish off the series.

    I agree with Danny Kane , look at how master roshi and jiraiya are both peverted and both ,master roshi trained goku and jiraiya trained naruto

    "DBZ" is better....whatever. -.- opinions opinions. I <3 Naruto. And the artist was inspired by DBZ. I like both though. Naruto more.
