The new movie just looks like shit to me, im a huge Star wars fan but seriously, im thinking i wont even see the new one EVER just so i dont ruin my memories of the great Saga that george lucas made. They chose a shitty director JJ Abrams who has done nothing good in the past. Its produced by Disney and they just want to sell theme park tickets . That cross lightsaber bullshit looks retarded, what is the point of having two small horizontal lightsabers coming out from the base ??

They brought back an aging old cast. They tossed in some dumbass black dude and some ugly ass black bitch to look politically correct

The plot sounds retarded as well. They just stuck in a millennium falcon and X-wing in there and made up some nonsense story after the saga has already ended.

Is it just me, or does anyone else this it will be a huge steaming pile of shit

    Here we go:

    1. While I'm not the biggest fan of J.J. Abrams he has proved himself to be a capable director when it comes to multimillion dollar budgets. Directing can only make a movie as good as the script allows it to be movie in certain respects.

    2. Cross lightsaber could be beneficial when blocking with the hilt for a reposte. Reposting with a regular lightsaber is much more risky. If the other lightsaber is caught agaisnt the hilt Kylo can just push the main saber into the dude. Easy money.

    3. Your cast point is irrelevant. You don't know how the older cast will be used or how much they will be used.

    4. Do you even know what the plot is yet? There's no official trailer.

    That being said I do agree that the story is likely better off without any further expansion. It'll probably just be alright.

      well my gut tells me it is going to make a bunch of money at the box office because everyone will see it anyways. I think people will say good things at first and it will probably get decent reviews for special effects and decent acting but i am guessing it will soon be forgotten and years from now people will just think of it as unimportant, people will still hold the other 6 movies in much higher regard.

      Kind of like jurassic world. Nice special effects, decent acting, fun to watch, but ultimately doesnt hold a candle to the original Jurassic Park. In 5 or 10 years nobody is going to be saying Jurassic world was one of the best movies of all time. It was made just to pull in big bucks at the box office
