Is it normal i think that samsung galaxy s3 is too big(screen 4.8 inches)?

few days ago i went to check out this sgs3 smarthphone, and it was awsome. Awsome screen, camera etc. Now i want to buy it ,but i think it is too big for day to day use, and to fit in my pocket! Am i the only one to think this way?

    You think that is too big? Check out the Galaxy Note! That sucker has a 5.5 inch touch screen! Ridiculous!

    Yes too big, if I want a tablet I'll get one. Job one of a smart phone is still the phone part. The size was the deal breaker between iphone and s3 for me. until it's cool for men to carry purses any phone has to be "pocketable"

    I've got the S3 and it is a really nice phone, I don't think it is too big either.

    I honestly think the S3 (yeah I agree it has awesome features) is too big for my taste. I would love the extra screen but I'm worried I could crack the screen as I normally put my phone in my back pocket and often sit on it (assuming I could afford the damn thing).

    Too big for me (might as well get a tablet?).

    Also it's quite ugly IMO and I see no reason to upgrade from my GS2, the specs aren't very different, plus what normal person needs a faster phone than GS2 anyway?
