As a kid i eavesdropped on my mom saying she didnt like the movie boys dont cry because a boy changes into a girl. I remembered the face of the actor in that movie. when i grew up i learned it was hilary swank. Now i was reading her wikipedie page and there is nothing saying she used to be a boy. All this time i got turned off when i saw her on tv and it was all a misunderstanding?

    You are remembering it backwards. She played a girl who tried to become a boy.

    And movies are fiction. That's a really important point to keep in mind. Aliens have never attacked earth. We aren't all asleep making power for machines. And Bruce Willis isn't a badass.
