Is it normal i thought i saw a smurf?

I was sleeping but woke up. Everything was dark. As I was falling asleep, I heard like quick footsteps. I looked in the direction, and I saw the shadow of a smurf. Is that normal?

    I'll repeat my earlier post:

    Since humans have fairly poor night vision, your brain has inadequate visual information to form a clear picture of your surroundings in the dark. Your mind then tries to fill in the blanks which is why people sometimes see things that aren't really there.
