Sick of getting knives thrown at me and being harrased and having to hide and hope he doesn't find me. I want to leave but am afraid it will mess up my bankruptcy if someone helps me leave. I have called the police , they believed the abuser not me. I am thinking of just getting some money and getting on a bus and leaving.
The dude is probably a smooth talking SOB and he could eventually kill you.
Screw the bankruptcy or anything else of that sort. Look up a women's shelter far, FAR away from your town... preferably out of your state, and take a bus there. Never contact this dude or anyone who knows him ever again. Get a job at McDonald's or any other place that is hiring, rent a room and build your life back up again. It sucks but you'll be happier for it in the long run...
Grab that money, get on that bus and get out of there. I don't understand about the bankruptcy, but nothing is worth staying in this shitty situation.
Yeah, find a shelter, do you have no family or friends who can take you in til you find you feet?
Take care of yourself - you are worth more than this, get out while you can
Im pretty sure they have shelters for abused women...try to look into that.
