Is it normal i want to expirement on my animals? just to see what happens.

I love my animals to death but sometimes I look at them and I want to test things. They are so cute that I want to see how they act on things like coke or aspirin. Would they not feel pain no more or would they get hyper and start jumping off walls. Am I messed up for thinking this? I am not sure how these chemicals affect animals though. So I just assume everything is going to kill them. I mean soda not coke as in drugs.

That's a bit weird. You should consider not having pets.

Lol wut? Good luck getting your cat to 'drink' coke (unless you inject it), and they can take aspirin, if you overdose they will probably just get a heart attack or something but there is a video from like the 50s or so of cats on acid, it's kind of sad but you might like it anyway why not stick with catnip?

  • I know that it might hurt them. I am not going to try but I was curios what would happen if I did. I never would since if they died because I did something like this I would feel horrible.

I have given my pet mice a bit of alcohol from vanilla extract diluted with water. They got a little loopy and it was interesting to observe. No harm done, but I'm not going to do it in the future.

If you are ever actually considering doing this, please give them up for adoption or give them to a family member/friend. It is NOT okay or normal to think this way. You will kill them.

Don't do it, it is mean. And illegal, well giving them drugs or hurting them is.

Don't give an animal aspirin unless they need it, then only what the vet tells you to. They develop tolerances and can overdose just like you, but they're smaller so it's easier. As for soda, its just not a good idea in the long run. Like I said, they can OD, and sugar isn't any better for them then you. Some dogs ate caffeine intolerant and it can kill. As far as I can tell with personal experience, its not all of them, I had a dog steal and eat an entire pound of M&Ms once and be fine, but do you really want to find out if that's your animal that can't handle it the hard way?

    please..
    don't..
domestic animals have low tolerance for a lot of things and simple things can kill them easily.

If you want to see something really funny, get a dog or cat drunk. A good way to do that is with eggnog, they'll lap up eggnog because it's sweet. When they get drunk, they go really limber like rag dolls.
