    This painting hurts my eyes. Science without compassion and the quiet suffering the are seen in the hopeless look in his eyes.

    The mind state that works best for you should be reinforced by the art that you observe. Sorry, but there’s too much pain and thoughtless cruelty going on in that picture.

    I think the art's really cool but I can't really see it as a great gift for anyone. Unless you know your mom is specifically into this kind of thing you should probably go with something else

    You should actually do it but then have a real gift you give her later. Let her open it and be confused for a good 10 minutes before giving her real one.
