Is it normal i was intro skateboarding as a kid but didn’t actually do it?

I remember when I was 10 years old Disney made a channel called Disney XD (I don’t know if it still exists) but I remember one show I was into was Zeke and Luther, which focused on two teens who skateboarded.

It got me interested in skateboarding. I watched the X games that year, and spent a lot of time playing this game boy game that had Mickey Mouse characters skateboarding.

The thing is, I didn’t really do it for real. We had a skateboard in our garage and I tried it out a few times but never got the hang of it. But lately I’ve been in this weird “Xtreme” mood and it makes me wish I tried it more back then.
