I do it rather frequently because I have an IBD and normally gauge my digestive health by scrutinizing my feces, examining closely the color, presence of foreign bodies or seed-like objects, texture, viscosity, and general smell. I think of it as a hobby, almost. There is an amazing feeling of cleanliness and well-being that comes from noticing that one has expelled something from one's backside, as well as an increased feeling of kinship with one's fellow men, considering that every man that has ever lived has pooped. This includes da Vinci, the Pope, the President, Mozart, Michelangelo, Shakespeare, Einstein, Tolstoy, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Socrates, etc. There is something wonderful about knowing that the very same creature that painted the Sistine Chapel also produced stinking brown mush every now and then, and that entire systems of religion and philosophy are based on the ideas and divinity of otherwise normally functioning primates that expelled poop from their backsides like the rest of us. What is it like, to be Sir Isaac Newton and taking a dump?
I think it's normal to look at the paper after you wipe...apparently it's an evolutionary thing, to check how healthy you/your diet is. Smelling it seems a bit far though. It's not something I've ever wanted to do myself, but I guess it's harmless, just don't tell people about it in real life lol.
I guess smelling your pits no longer was satisfying for you? Why did it have to be this? Why couldn't you make out with tree boyfriend instead while members of the clergy repeatedly caught you in the act?
If it's after urine, it's not normal. If after the poo, yes. You MUST keep track of the health of your digestive tract.
