Is it normal if i dm girls asking if my bf has messaged them

ever since I caught my boyfriend cheating on me i’ve figured out who the girls were and have messaged them asking if he’s talked to them and what they can tell me. My boyfriend found out and at first he understood but now he’s getting pissed about it but he continues to cheat and I continue to find out girls he’s been messaging. He kicked me out of his house because he caught me talking to a girl about him is this wrong with me? Is he justified in getting upset with me for doing so? He’s traumatized me and I feel like I can’t trust him and I feel the need to ask around. he tells me he’s done cheating and he’s not but he’s done it over ten times and has done nothing to prove to me that i can trust him
