Is it normal im more affectionate with my cat than ive ever been with a gf?

It isnt that I havent said I love you to a gf, I have. And it isnt that I havent kissed a gf multiple times a day, I have

But the amount I say 'I love you' to my cat in 1 minute is equal to the amount of times Ive said it to women in my life. And how much I smother my cat with kisses in a few seconds, I have never smothered a gf like that ever. Though they have to me.

Im not saying Im asexual. I love sex. But my love for my cat seems different. Seems................ deeper and pure and childlike

IIN?

Maybe it's because you feel that girls will come and go but you know that your cat won't break up with you or leave.

Affection for your cat doesn't really relate to feelings for a human. You probably haven't found the right girl yet. No need to do a verbal count of how many times you say you love your cat, it doesn't matter. It's a cat. I roll on the ground with my dog and tell her she's gorgeous about 40 times in 10 minutes. And you may love sex, but that doesn't mean you aren't asexual. Asexual doesn't mean no sex, but no romantic attraction to any gender at all. Seems like a lonely existence, but it's like being born gay, straight, fat, left handed. Someone will come along and you might only say it once a day, maybe once a week, but if feelings are genuine, it'll mean a hell of a lot more than what it means when you tell your cat you love it.

Yes, it is but I don't think it's a matter of loving your cat more: you just feel a different love for the two of them. It's a good, healthy thing to be affectionate towards one's pet(s).
