Is it normal it's summer and i want to go back to school?

After a while I get bored. I love learning in its own right, but especially because it takes me away from problems and makes me feel like I'm doing something useful.

Good point OP. When school is going on you crave the freedom to do nothing that summer gives you. But when summer actually comes, having so much freedom to do anything you want whenever you want becomes old real fast and you want more discipline in your everyday life. I say keep learning and keep growing and keep yourself occupied but also learn to relax and take a step back and admire the view. And before you know it September will be here, the air will be a little colder, and you'll start to miss summer again, lol.

I'm bored at home, too. Heh, I am at home now. But when I go to class, I'm still bored, but there's at least something to do. Learn.

Really? I just left and the thought of going back to that hell-hole of stress makes me want to cry.

I had a shit experience in middle school but high school was great for me, things have gone downhill since.

Yeah, I suppose the last year wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't decide to change the exam system we'd been following for 4 years just before the exams that determine if we go to uni :/

Yeah, we can all thank Mr Michael Gove for that stroke of genius. Hopefully lots of people won't do as well as last year and the grade boundaries will be lowered *crosses fingers*.

You can learn even if you're not in school. I'm bored at home too, so I've bought some books for my classes next year. I'm going to read them to get ahead of the game.

The only requirement is being able to motivate yourself. School doesn't just stop you from being bored by giving you something to do. It structures your day and devises your routine for you, and provides you a framework with other students to make learning a part of your social context. You have to have a lot more motivation to learn without school because there's so much that school does for you.

That's true actually. However, I do still learn - I do so with books. I guess it's the people and structure I additionally miss.
