Is it normal landlord got upset at me for messy house but not other tenent?

So when I moved in everything was a mess. There was dust everywhere, floors are stained with spots, dishes in sink already, theres a dead rat in closet mouse trap that already was here, and everything is grimey. I spend all day one day cleaning it and I am the only one who does dishes ever. Yet my roommate complained to landlord that the kitchen is a mess and landlord did inspection and is angry kitchen is a mess and my floor isn't swept. Which I do need to sweep more but literally was as if no one lived in this house and I am the only one who has ever tried to clean anything ever.

    Did you explain this to the landlord?

    Also, I think your roommate is toxic and could potentially screw you over down the line, so you might want to watch out.

    Not normal.

    You could always pour a bottle of liquid ass into your roomates carpet and tell the landlord hes shitting in a bucket in his room everyday
