You know that very specific haircut where all hair is either shaved or very short except on top of the head where they have longer hair that is cut so that it curls like pic related:

Unfortunately this cut is very trendy at least where I live.
Of course that is a styled, perfect model but on most guys in real life it looks hideous. Especially since an alarming amount of men with fat/wide faces for some god forsaken reason picks that haircut. Come on men. A haircut like that only makes your face look wider like you're a giant pineapple... I had a male friend with that haircut and he was fat, I just never had the heart to tell him how bad of an idea it was for him. Such a shame when he had a haircut which made him look cute in the past. Don't just go with trends, guys. Be self aware of your mirror image first.
No reason to get offended now. I bet you don't find it hot when fat women walk around in tight little clothing and shit, this is the same thing, plus you can consider it a free beauty tip. You're welcome.

    LOL, I have always thought very similarly of this haircut as well! 🤣 I've always thought it made guys look like thumbs; you know how your thumb kind of narrows towards the top? Kind of the same concept as the pineapple, and if you have any length on your thumbnail and envision that as the hair and the thumb as the guy, you might see what I'm talking about. Same with the top knot styles looking like a tied trash bag, I just can't unsee it!

    I've never really been a fan of the shaved sides look for the same reason you mention. It makes the top of the head look weirdly narrower on most people and makes their face shape look excessively round. Having some hair on the sides kind of balances everything out IMO.

    I always disliked this hairstyle not so much because it doesn’t suit a lot of guys, because I’m not attracted to them anyway, but because it was so boring and over done. If you lined up 20 random male students from 2013-2019 19 of them would have had that exact hair, you would have thought it was a legal requirement.

    Amusing post, but then I always find hairstyle fashions hilarious.

    A couple of years ago, the fashion for teenage girls here in this corner of Wales was for them to all put their hair up into tight buns. Whenever I happened to see a gaggle of secondary school age girls going to or from school, every damn one of them had a turd balanced right on the top of their head.

    Then, about a year ago, it seemed that a memo went out or something, because everything changed literally overnight. Suddenly every girl of that age now had long, straight hair blowing around her head like a cloud in the faintest breeze. Given that we're just off the Atlantic here, there's usually at least a breeze; more often than not, there's a freaking gale howling in off the ocean.
